Today, the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, delivered the spring statement before the House of Commons (23rd March 2022). Sunak acknowledged uncertainty surrounding the Office for Budget and Responsibility (OBR) outlook, due to the unfolding invasion of Ukraine by Russia. However, Sunak reiterated that the Government has a marked record of cutting tax, and that the plan delivers the biggest personal tax cuts seen in a quarter of a century.
