Atticus Partners retains PRCA CMS Accreditation

20/09/2023

Atticus Partners has retained its Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Communications Management System (CMS) Accreditation, also known as the ‘hallmark of PR and communications excellence’.

Consultancies are scored on nine core areas, including leadership, business planning, financial management and client satisfaction. The CMS accreditation serves as an assurance of professionalism within the public relations industry and Atticus are thrilled that we can provide clients and employees alike with the assurance that we maintain exceptional standards in management and performance.

CMS assessor, Carol Magill commented:

“Atticus CMS audit covered financial management, leadership and communication and business planning. The evidence for the CMS was thorough and comprehensive.  The business plan was well researched and had in place financial targets and business objectives, a SWOT analysis and forward thinking around improvement projects and new markets the agency aims to explore.

“In relation to team structures a very detailed organisation chart was in place with thorough descriptions of different roles, which assists team members in understanding what is required from members.  This was supplemented with a staff survey to ensure that staff understand leadership and management structures. Financial management accounts were in place and included tracking of client income.  This as a solid CMS response, well done to Atticus Partners for retaining CMS while making significant internal changes to their business.”

Co-Founder Leon Cook noted:

“Our dedicated team has put in tremendous effort, and we're honored by the PRCA's recognition of our retention of the CMS accreditation. It showcases our team's genuine dedication to growth and assures our clients and stakeholders that they are collaborating with a company deeply committed to delivering excellence.”

We’ve cultivated an environment that harbours independence. Whether they are early birds who go to yoga and then smash their news updates before 8.30am, or they simply hate travelling on the tube in rush hour, we trust and respect our team’s skills and conscientiousness. As long as core responsibilities are covered, our team is free to work flexibly.

We’re proud to be a living wage employer. We believe that no one should have to choose between financial stability and doing a job they love, so we pay a wage that allows our team to save for a rainy day and guarantees a good quality of life.

Many members of the Atticus Partners team hold the Communications Management Standard (CMS). CMS demonstrates a commitment to achieving excellence and assures our clients that we are providing the most effective service possible.
