Atticus Partners, an award-winning full-service agency working across a range of international public affairs and corporate communications clients, is looking for a highly motivated Director, with strong cross-sector experience but with a particular track-record in tech across public affairs and media, to join our team.

Salary Band - Extremely competitive 

In the position of Director, you will:

  • Provide leadership to the business, including on company strategy, recruitment, staff management and new business developmen
  • Support the founder partners with the day-to-day running and implementation of the strategic vision for the business
    Take a leadership role in generating business leads across various sectors, oversee and lead responses to tender processes 
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior business leaders across public policy, corporate communications, campaign strategy, reputation management, strategic content development, corporate narrative development and stakeholder engagement
  • Enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audience
  • Line manage and mentor public affairs colleagues
  • Lead and coach junior team members to support their professional development and improve the overall quality of work and efficiency

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • 8 years’ experience in an in-house or agency setting, working across several sectors delivering a range of public affairs, public policy and corporate communications campaign
  • Have worked closely with technology companies across a varied set of public affairs and policy issues; knowledge of the current debates concerning online safety, digital connectivity and competition in the UK and Ireland would be a bonus
  • Experience of working closely with a varied of political groups and stakeholder
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced business environment, effectively managing competing demands and priorities while providing strong leadership to those around you
