Atticus Partners, an award-winning agency working across a range of international public affairs and corporate communications clients, is looking for a highly motivated Director with strong cross-sector experience in public affairs and media to join our team.Atticus is rapidly growing and changing every day – and we believe our employees are at the heart of this success. Salary Band - Extremely competitive
In the position of Director, you will:
- Provide leadership to the business, including on company strategy, marketing, and new business development
- Support the Founder with the day-to-day running and implementation of the strategic vision for the business
- Take a leadership role in generating business leads across various sectors, oversee and lead responses to tender processes
- Provide strategic counsel to senior business leaders across public policy, corporate communications, campaign strategy, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement issues
- Enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences
- Line manage and mentor colleagues
- Lead and coach junior team members to support their professional development and improve the overall quality of work and efficiency
The successful candidate must have the following:
- At least 12 years’ experience in a similar setting, delivering a range of public affairs, public policy and corporate communications campaigns
- Have worked closely with a wide variety of companies across a varied set of policy issues
- Experience of working closely with a varied of political groups and stakeholders
- A desire to work in a fast-paced business environment, effectively managing competing demands and priorities while providing strong leadership to those around you
